It almost feels unfair that the MLB Playoffs are this close to being over. The Brewers could end the Dodgers season tonight, but luckily in the early part of the day, we get the Rays and Guardians in a 1-1 series jockeying for position.
Underdog is offering new users a chance to bet on either (or both) games with promo code FOXNEWS to unlock $100 in bonus bets. Bet $5 on the game and receive a $10 bonus bet token. Repeat that process for ten days and you’ll earn $100 in bonus bets.
The Rays and Guardians are tied at 1-1 in the series and each team is looking to get this pivotal Game 3. Tampa Bay is sending out Griffin Jax to the hill. He has made one appearance for the postseason, going two innings and allowing one earned run. In the regular season, he was 8-10 with a 3.53 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He did not make a start against Cleveland, but has held them to just 14 hits in 61 at-bats against him.
The Guardians are getting back home after stealing home-field advantage away from the Rays. They turn to Gavin Williams, who has gotten quite a bit of work in the postseason. Williams made three appearances against the White Sox, including two starts. He went five innings in the opener, allowing two earned runs. He also allowed just one hit in 5.2 innings in a big Game 5 with 12 strikeouts. He faced Tampa at home earlier this season and allowed just five hits and one unearned run over 7.2 innings.

The Brewers have a commanding 3-0 lead over the Dodgers and have found different ways to demoralize Los Angeles in each game. Every game, Los Angeles has had a lead, but Milwaukee has found a way to overcome their leads and never look back. Now, the Dodgers have their backs against the wall, and if they want a shot at a third straight title, it will require making the Brewers lose four straight games. They’ve lost four in a row or more just twice this season.
The Dodgers have all the pieces to win. Their lineup is full of talented hitters. Their pitching staff is loaded with guys who would be top-of-the-rotation starters for any team. For whatever reason, they just can’t unlock the code that is Milwaukee this season. If they want to win, it will come down to Tyler Glasnow, who has a 1.93 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP in the postseason.
