Monday Night Football brings the defending Super Bowl champions and the NFL’s best team against the spread together in Seattle. It’s a tight line on a big stage, which is the perfect setup for a protected first bet. BetMGM is offering new users bonus code FOXNEWS to cover their first wager up to $1,500. If it loses, BetMGM refunds your stake in bonus bets.
The Bears have been the most dependable team in football for bettors. They’re 5-2 straight up, 5-2 against the spread and 2-1 ATS on the road. They’ve won two in a row, including a 30-24 win over New England, and Caleb Williams has played with the poise of a quarterback who’s ready for this kind of spotlight. Getting a field goal against a team that hasn’t dominated at home is a big part of the appeal.
The Seahawks are the champs, and Lumen Field on a Monday night is still one of the hardest road trips in the league. Mike Macdonald’s defense can turn this into a grind, and Chicago could be short-handed in the backfield with Kyle Monangai banged up with thumb and toe injuries. If Seattle keeps the game low-scoring and protects Sam Darnold, laying three at home looks reasonable.
The number sits at 46.5. Only three of Chicago’s seven games have gone over, and Seattle wants to keep this one from becoming a shootout. That makes the total as interesting a bet as the side.
