Monday Night Football gives us one of the best games of Week 8. Chicago, the NFL’s most reliable team against the spread, visits the defending champion Seahawks with first place in the NFC picture on the line. Betr is offering new users promo code FOXNEWS to get $200 in bonuses and four sweat-free picks for Bears vs. Seahawks.
The Bears are 5-2 and have covered five times, the best mark in the league. They’re coming off a 30-24 win over New England and going for their third straight win. They’ve also been solid on the road, covering two of three away from Soldier Field.
Seattle won the Super Bowl last season, but the Seahawks are 4-3 and 2-3-2 against the spread this year. They’re just 1-1-2 ATS at home, which isn’t what you’d expect from a team that plays in one of the loudest stadiums in the league. Mike Macdonald will want to keep this game in the hands of his defense rather than ask Sam Darnold to win a shootout.
Caleb Williams is the headline. His ability to make plays on the move puts his rushing number in play, especially in a primetime road game where scrambles tend to show up. Keep an eye on Chicago’s backfield, where Kyle Monangai missed practice with thumb and toe injuries. On Seattle’s side, Darnold’s passing line comes down to protection against a Bears pass rush that’ll be fired up for a national audience.
