Getting into sports betting isn’t a decision to take lightly. You should consider the game, the angle, your finances, what to bet, and the welcome offer from each sportsbook. Luckily for you, we have prepared a betting guide for the ALCS and NLCS that you can use to place a wager on Fanatics, BetMGM, bet365, and FanDuel.
Fanatics Sportsbook is offering new users a promo code of FOXNEWS350 to provide $350 on a $20 wager from any game. Here is the wager we like for today’s game:
Gavin Williams, Guardians, Starting Pitcher, under 6.5 strikeouts. Williams is a good starter, and he has 24 strikeouts in just 11.2 innings of work this postseason, but those were all against a young and impatient White Sox team. The Rays have struck out 14 times in 58 at-bats against Williams in their careers. That’s about 25% of the time. Starters only throw about four or five innings in the postseason. If Williams gets 15 outs in the game (five innings) that puts him at roughly four strikeouts based on his career averages against Tampa.
Yandy Diaz 2+ total bases is a great one to place at BetMGM because if your first bet loses, they will give you a refund matching your wager (up to $1,500) in bonus bets when you register and use promo code FOXNEWS.
Diaz is 7-for-15 against Williams in his career with just one strikeout. Three of his hits have gone for extra bases, all doubles. Diaz bats near the top of the order in most games, so he should get at least five plate appearances. All he needs is one double, or two hits, and this wager, a plus money play, cashes.
Bet365 is offering new users a chance to wager $10 on a bet and earn $365 in bonus bets regardless of whether the bet wins or loses. This is a chance for you to cash in on extras even if Glasnow has a great outing. In his only appearance in the postseason, Glasnow went 4.2 innings. The Dodgers wanted to win so they could go up 2-1 over the Braves, and now they must win to stay alive. Manager Dave Roberts will play every matchup he can in order to keep the team alive and likely won’t let Glasnow go deep into the game. He has hit at least five innings of work in 11 of 13 regular season games, so it is a risky play, but bet365 helps eliminate some of the stress by giving you $365 in bonus bets even if the wager loses.
FanDuel is offering new users a chance to wager just $5 and earn a $50 bonus bet regardless of if your wager wins or loses. You can do this each day for five straight days as a new user to earn a total of $250 in bonus bets. One thought for tonight’s game is to fade William Contreras. He has swung a hot bat in this series, and Glasnow almost certainly won’t go a full game, but he has had Contreras’ number. In 11 at-bats against Glasnow, Contreras is 0-for-11 with four strikeouts. You can bet $5 that he will not have a hit tonight, and if it wins, you win on plus money action and get a $50 bonus bet. If it loses, you’re out $5 but can play a $50 bonus bet.
