FIRST ON FOX: CHESTER, N.J. — Police returned Wednesday and Thursday to the home where New Jersey mother Brooke Hanlon was found stabbed to death nearly five months ago.
Neighbors of Brooke Hanlon told Fox News Digital that at least 15 law-enforcement vehicles were on scene Wednesday and remained at the residence on Pottersville Road in Chester, New Jersey, until around 11 p.m. Her husband, Conor Hanlon, was seen speaking with police on Wednesday afternoon, her neighbors said.
Police returned to the home again on Thursday.
Conor Hanlon has denied any involvement in her death. No arrests have been made in the case.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey told Fox News Digital it has no updates regarding the investigation into Hanlon’s death. She leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.
Investigators’ return comes weeks after officials released Hanlon’s autopsy, which ruled her death a homicide caused by “sharp force injuries.” The autopsy confirms what Morris County Prosecutor’s Office released in June.
